Recovery Takes Time

It takes time, it takes money, and it takes a whole lot of people willing to bring their talents to the table to create a place where men actually have a chance to recover.

That’s a big part of why we’re so grateful to be moving forward with another sober living home. It gives us the opportunity to create more space for men who need time, structure, accountability, community, and a safe place to begin rebuilding their lives.

But at the end of the day, we can provide the house, the structure, the accountability and the opportunity, but we can’t do the changing. That’s where Holy Spirit comes in.

What we’re trying to do is create a space where men have enough time, enough support, and enough grace to allow Holy Spirit to begin doing in them what none of us could ever do for them.

Recovery takes time. Restoration takes time.

We just want to give men a safe place to walk that road with God and with other men who are walking it alongside them.
