Pencil Trade Up

Starting with nothing but a pencil. ✏️

The Convicted 4 Christ Trade-Up Challenge is a community-driven project designed to show how small acts of generosity can grow into something meaningful. We’re beginning with one simple pencil and trading it up item by item through donations, exchanges, and support from individuals and local businesses.

How it works:
• We start with one pencil.
• Someone trades it for another item of slightly greater value.
• That item is then traded again.
• The process continues over the coming weeks as the challenge grows.

The purpose of the challenge is bigger than the items themselves. Each trade helps raise awareness for the outreach work Convicted 4 Christ provides throughout the community, including:
• Recovery support
• Community outreach
• Meals and food assistance
• Hygiene kits
• Faith-based mentorship and ministry support

Every trade tells a story, and every participant becomes part of the journey. The challenge highlights the power of community, generosity, and how even the smallest contribution can create a lasting impact.

We’ll be sharing updates, photos, and trade progress along the way so everyone can follow the journey from beginning to end.

If you or your business would like to participate by making a trade, donating an item, sponsoring part of the challenge, or helping spread the word, we’d love to connect with you.

It’s amazing what can happen when people come together around a simple idea.
